SCC UK Annual Report 2025 – A Community That Kept Moving Forward

10 June 2026

2025 was a year of renewal. With a business climate defined by cautious optimism and shifting trade relations, the Swedish-British community needed a constant – and that is exactly what SCC UK set out to be. A place to find perspective, build real connections, and move forward with confidence.

The community responded. It grew with 45 new Members, reached 465 in total, and showed up across 68 events and programmes, bringing together a diverse array of stakeholders totalling over 3,700. Behind every number is a person who chose to be in the room.

On the events front, the year was nothing short of remarkable. A Royal Visit at the Life Sciences Symposium. A fringe event at SXSW London. A record-breaking Annual Christmas Luncheon. Across 165 hours of live discussion, the community gathered, challenged each other, and left with something they did not arrive with.

For Swedish companies looking to land and grow in the UK, Business Development Services supported 56 high-growth companies through curated programmes, ecosystem exchanges, and smarter-than-ever AI-powered matchmaking – turning ambition into action.

Meanwhile, the Chamber's voice grew louder. 808,661 LinkedIn impressions – enough to fill Wembley Stadium nine times over – alongside a newly launched weekly LinkedIn Newsletter reaching 5,500 readers and four editions of LINK Magazine featuring 69 member businesses.

Behind all of this is you – our members. Your trust, curiosity, and commitment are what give the Chamber its energy. That has not changed, and it never will.
