Ron has been part of the Stena Group for more than 20 years.
He spent 8 years in South Korea and China overseeing newbuild projects for the Stena group.
He held various positions within the Northern Marine Group in Scotland in Ship Design and Technical Fleet Operations, as Director Ship Management.
Between 2015 and 2022 Ron was appointed Managing Director for Stena Line Germany, in charge of commercial operations for the ferry routes between Sweden and Germany.
Since 2021 he leads Stena’ inhouse Technical & Innovation division Stena Teknik as Technical Director in Gothenburg.
Ron holds a Master’s Degree in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering from the Technical Universities of Berlin and Hamburg.

Duncan is Chief Executive of Sustainable Aviation, helping lead the aviation industry to a more sustainable future. He was a Partner at Brunswick from 2019 to 2024, leading teams to support international clients with corporate reputation, public policy, and competition issues. Prior to this, Duncan was Chief of Staff and Special Advisor to former Chancellor Rt Hon Phillip Hammond MP where he provided advice on fiscal policy, Brexit, financial services and transport issues, among other things. Duncan also served as a Special Advisor to Phillip Hammond as the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, and was campaign director and office manager for Andrea Leadsom MP from 2010 to 2015. Before that, Duncan was chief executive at MCA Ltd, a management consulting firm, providing managerial and strategic advice to large companies and has also worked in European equity strategy for Credit Suisse and JPMorgan Chase in London, and consulted at the World Bank and KPMG in Washington, D.C.

Kenneth Riis Jensen is responsible for translating DSV’s ambitious climate goals into actionable strategies and measurable results within the global Road division. As a member of the COO Management Team, he plays a key role in driving digitalization, business development, and decarbonization efforts across the division.
In his current role, Kenneth oversees the development and execution of the decarbonization roadmap for DSV’s global Road division. His responsibilities include identifying scalable low- and zero-emission technologies, conducting decarbonization simulations, selecting key markets for deploying solutions such as electric trucks, acting as an in-house consultant for regional and national teams, developing commercial service catalogs, and fostering strategic partnerships with business collaborators.
Prior to stepping into this role in May 2023, Kenneth served as Sustainability Director for DSV’s Danish organization, covering all three business divisions while being a member of the Strategic Management Group (extended leadership team).
Before joining DSV, Kenneth was the Global Head of Sustainability at MHI Vestas and has held various leadership and advisory roles, including CEO, advisor, and sustainability specialist.
Kenneth has been working on the development and implementation of sustainability strategies and projects since 2005, with experience across multiple countries, including China, Vietnam, Nepal, and India.
He holds a Master’s degree in Business and Development Studies from Copenhagen Business School.

Philip is a disputes and legal risk management lawyer. He is also global co-head of the shipping group. He has wide experience of the shipping and offshore energy sectors together with marine insurance and general commercial disputes and has taken matters to the English High Court, international and domestic arbitrations and mediation. Philip has represented ship owners during investigations by coast guard, police and accident investigation authorities and has represented clients at Coroner's Inquests.
He advises ship owners and operators, banks, insurers and energy companies on the legal, commercial and environmental risks of owning, and operating ships, including pollution risks, and undertakes non-contentious contractual work such as long term charterparties, shipbuilding contracts and MoAs. He has advised extensively on legal risk management for LNG tank ship owners and financiers and for marine risks of floating offshore production and storage. Philip has been worked on shipping insolvencies for administrators and liquidators and in disputes relating to debt and the financing of assets.
Philip has been advising on the challenge of decarbonisation facing the industry including the inclusion of shipping in the EU Emissions Trading System (EU ETS).

Per Tunell is a Naval Architect with more than 25 years in the shipping industry. He has been working as a ship surveyor, project manager of several newbuildings, Head of Environmental Management and Chief Operating Officer at Wallenius Marine and is now Vice President, Sustainability & Business Development at Soya Group (the Wallenius Group)
Per Tunell has been speaking about the Wallenius Marine vision: “Leading the way towards truly sustainable shipping” all over the world, and how that vision has led to concrete results. Today, Wallenius Marine is using big data and lean processes to ensure energy efficiency, have a highly skilled crew with a strong environmental engagement and has now also developed a new vessel concept with wind as main propulsion.

Charles leads Energy UK’s policy advocacy on the transition of energy systems towards Net Zero, focusing on how the UK energy system can adapt to a low-carbon future for supply and demand alike. This includes driving forward network reform and planning reform to enable investment to flow, considering new approaches such as the energy applications for data and digitalisation, advocating for routes to low carbon heat and transport for homes and businesses, and reforming institutional governance arrangements across the energy sector to ensure codes and institutions are fit for the future. Charles led engagement on the Energy Act 2023 and continues to engage on legislation on planning reforms, devolution, and digitalisation. Before joining Energy UK in 2016, Charles worked in the transport and technology sectors.
