Miles & Mingle: 5K Run & Networking at Regent's Park

At this year's London Marathon, Sabastian Sawe ran 26.2 miles in 1 hour, 59 minutes and 30 seconds, becoming the first human ever to break the two-hour barrier in a sanctioned race. We watched. We were inspired. We also had a biscuit.

So, in the spirit of "doing our bit," we're hosting a Run Club this May. Don't worry, we're not asking you to run a marathon in under two hours. We're asking you to run 5 kilometres around Regent's Park at whatever pace gets you there with a smile (or at least without medical intervention).

Here's how it'll go:

• The Run. A relaxed 5K loop of Regent's Park. All paces welcome. Walkers, joggers, sprinters, and people who just came for the post-run bit are all valid life choices.
• Fuel up. Nicks is generously sponsoring the event with bars to keep everyone going (or to reward you for showing up, depending on your strategy).
• Post-run networking at The Volunteer. The real main event. We'll head over for a cold one, some chat, and the chance to meet people who also voluntarily ran 5K on a weeknight.

Whether you're chasing a PB or chasing a new connection, come along. No sub-two-hour expectations, just good people, fresh legs (briefly), and a drink at the end.

Eligibility: This event is open to Young Professionals only. Young Professionals are defined as individuals under 35 years of age who are either employed by one of our member companies or hold Young Professional membership.
