Meet the Innovators – Fintech Networking Evening brings together speakers and participating companies from Ecosystem Exchange: Fintech 2026 with a wider group of fintech professionals for an open, informal networking session in central London.


This event is designed for anyone interested in the UK–Nordic fintech corridor – whether you are a founder, investor, financial institution, advisor, or ecosystem partner – to:

  • Meet and mingle with founders and representatives from the participating companies
  • Connect with speakers and experts involved in the Ecosystem Exchange programme
  • Expand your UK fintech network and explore collaboration opportunities


There is no formal programme or content; the focus is entirely on conversations and connections. Drop in, grab a drink, and use the evening to discover new contacts, follow up on shared interests, and build relationships that can support future UK–Nordic fintech growth.

Emily Turner

Emily Turner is the CEO of HSBC Innovation Banking UK. Emily leads the bank and is responsible for scaling the business across the UK, Denmark and Sweden driving growth with leading innovation companies and investors. Emily is also a member of the UK Board.


Over the past decade, Emily established and built-up Citi Ventures UK, led Citi’s Global Institutional Strategic Investing group, and developed multiple early-stage companies as part of Citi's internal incubator. Most recently, Emily held the position of MD and Head of Business Development, Citi’s Client Organisation.


Before joining Citi, Emily worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company in London. A native New Yorker, Emily is a graduate of Dartmouth College and has an MBA from Columbia University.


Emily brings extensive experience of driving growth within the innovation ecosystem, both as an investor and as an operator.

As Director, Amy is responsible for the strategic development and operational delivery of Level39, which is now a global, connected community and home to 180+ businesses, innovating in FinTech, Cyber Security, CleanTech, AI, and Life Sciences. She has spent over 10 years as an ecosystem builder and is passionate about helping emerging entrepreneurs navigate the challenges of scaling. She is committed to creating an environment and community in which people from all backgrounds can find mentorship, investment and support. Alongside her role, Amy led the delivery of Startup & Innovator endorsements on behalf of Level39, enabling over 40 entrepreneurs from 15 countries to establish innovative technology businesses in the UK.
