Business Breakfast: Employment Rights

19 May, 08:30 - 11:00

The Employment Rights Act 2025 received Royal Assent in December – and with it comes the most sweeping transformation of UK employment law in a generation. With 28 major reforms being phased in through to 2027, the legal landscape is shifting now and will keep shifting.

This Business Breakfast brings together an intimate, curated group of senior professionals to move beyond the headlines and into the substance: guaranteed hours obligations for zero-hours workers, a reduced six-month qualifying period for unfair dismissal, new trade union workplace access rights, a strengthened flexible working framework, and a new Fair Work Agency with real enforcement teeth.

Through roundtable discussion and expert input, we'll explore how organisations are interpreting the new requirements, where the grey areas remain, and what practical steps employers should be taking today to stay ahead of a fast-moving implementation timeline.
