20 May, 08:30 - 11:00
As one of the UK’s largest employment sectors, retail continues to play a vital role in opening doors, building skills, and developing future talent across industries. In this curated discussion, you will get practical perspectives on how a people-first approach strengthens organisations, contributes to resilient communities, and ensures retail remains a key driver of talent, innovation, and sustainable growth.
For many, retail represents the first step into working life - a first role, first responsibility, and first introduction to the professional world. For some, it becomes a long-term career shaped by growth, opportunity, and leadership. This Business Breakfast brings together senior leaders, brands, and partners, the session will explore how the sector can continue to serve as both a gateway and a platform for progression; supporting careers through a focus on wellbeing, inclusion, and sustained development.
