Emily Turner is the CEO of HSBC Innovation Banking UK. Emily leads the bank and is responsible for scaling the business across the UK, Denmark and Sweden driving growth with leading innovation companies and investors. Emily is also a member of the UK Board.

Over the past decade, Emily established and built-up Citi Ventures UK, led Citi’s Global Institutional Strategic Investing group, and developed multiple early-stage companies as part of Citi's internal incubator. Most recently, Emily held the position of MD and Head of Business Development, Citi’s Client Organisation.

Before joining Citi, Emily worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company in London. A native New Yorker, Emily is a graduate of Dartmouth College and has an MBA from Columbia University.

Neal is a business technology leader who operates at the intersection of high-growth product innovation and commercial scale. His career is defined by a simple focus: Building, Operating, and Advising. From early-stage startups to global enterprise portfolios, Neal has a track record of transforming cutting-edge technology into market-leading products that deliver tangible business results.

Currently, as EVP of Product at Sage, Neal is architecting the next generation of business intelligence. He is leading the development and global rollout of Sage Copilot and a network of Agentic AI solutions designed to move beyond simple automation toward proactive, autonomous workflows. Simultaneously, he is spearheading an AI Engineering transformation across his division—re-platforming the product organization to thrive in an AI-first software landscape.

Neal’s foundation is built on scaling complex technologies in high-stakes environments. He previously served as Chief Product Officer and Managing Director of Financial Services at BAE Systems Applied Intelligence. His deep roots in the startup ecosystem include years as a Global Advisory Board Member for CyLon, the world’s leading accelerator for security and fintech innovation.

Amy joined Level39 in 2014 to build an emerging fintech community of industry leaders, mentors, investors, and partners, to support ambitious entrepreneurs and high-growth technology businesses based in Canary Wharf.

As Director, Amy is responsible for the strategic development and operational delivery of Level39, which is now a global, connected community and home to 180+ businesses, innovating in FinTech, Cyber Security, CleanTech, AI, and Life Sciences. She has spent over 10 years as an ecosystem builder and is passionate about helping emerging entrepreneurs navigate the challenges of scaling. She is committed to creating an environment and community in which people from all backgrounds can find mentorship, investment and support. Alongside her role, Amy led the delivery of Startup & Innovator endorsements on behalf of Level39, enabling over 40 entrepreneurs from 15 countries to establish innovative technology businesses in the UK.

Yusuf is a London-based partner at QED Investors with a focus on U.K. and European fintech and proptech companies. Yusuf joined QED in 2017, and his career has spanned roles as an operator, advisor, entrepreneur and investor. His current portfolio of investments include Wagestream, Fidel API, Capitalise, Rest Less, Wayflyer, Weavr, GetGround and Payhawk.

Yusuf started his career at Capital One in 1997 where he helped develop many of the innovative lending solutions in the underserved credit segment. Subsequently he joined the Financial Institutions M&A Group at J. P. Morgan in 2003, advising banks and specialty finance companies on mergers, public listings and capital raising.

He started his professional investing career in 2006, with a focus on specialty finance and consumer credit companies in Europe, including early fintech investments such as some of the first online loan originators in Sweden. Prior to joining QED, Yusuf was an investment director with a growth private equity fund, helping fast-growing companies and entrepreneurs build lasting franchises by leveraging the power of data analytics.

Yusuf holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with High Honors, and a BS in Commerce from the University of Virginia McIntire School of Commerce with Distinction. He completed his undergraduate degree with a dual concentration in Finance and MIS.

Yusuf is fluent in English, Swedish and Turkish and has a working knowledge of German. He is currently studying Bosnian/Serbo-Croatian.
