Business Breakfast: Women in Business

03 March, 08:30 - 11:00

In conjunction with International Women’s Day 2026, we gather for a morning of discussion and exchange on the state of women in business. This event will explore the realities of female leadership, the barriers that persist, and the opportunities for organisations to accelerate change. Together, we consider how inclusive workplaces drive performance, innovation, and sustainable growth.

London stands as one of Europe’s most dynamic business centres, yet women remain underrepresented in senior leadership – with fewer than 10% of FTSE 100 CEOs being female. Sweden, by contrast, is often cited among the global leaders in gender equality, ranking consistently near the top of the World Economic Forum’s Gender Gap Index and paving the way in policies supporting work-life balance and female participation in the labour market. Still, even in Sweden, full parity remains out of reach, with the WEF projecting five generations until equality is achieved worldwide.
