Stefan Gullgren became the Ambassador of Sweden to the UK in August 2023 having most recently served in Warsaw as Sweden’s Ambassador to Poland. Previously, Stefan has served as Sweden’s Ambassador in Kyiv, held various positions at Sweden’s embassy in Moscow as well as different roles within the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs in Stockholm.

Sunny Mann is a Partner and is Chair of our International Trade and Sanctions Global Group. He also oversees our Geopolitical Risks Taskforce. During the Russia crisis, the global team that he led advised around one quarter of each of the Fortune 100, FTSE 100, CAC 40 and DAX 30 communities.
He is currently based in our London office, but has also worked in our offices in Washington, D.C., New York, Sydney and Hong Kong. Sunny’s practice focuses on international trade compliance and, in particular, export controls and trade sanctions, as well as anti-bribery. He has worked on a number of significant compliance and investigations matters, including multiple global risk assessments. He has worked on matters before authorities in the UK (HMRC, OFSI, CMA and the NCA), the US (OFAC, Department of Commerce, SEC and DOJ) and the EU (European Commission).
He is a Visiting Professor at King’s College London, teaching a course on sanctions, and was for 15 years a Visiting Professor at the College of Europe (Bruges), the first and leading institute for postgraduate European studies, where he taught a course on Corporate Compliance and CSR. He has appeared in media including Sky News, CNN, BBC and Radio 4’s Today Programme.
In Chambers and Legal 500, Sunny is ranked as a Leading Practitioner and was described as “‘excellent’, with a ‘calm’ and ‘very practical’ approach”.

Annika Winsth has been Chief Economist at Nordea Sweden since 2008 and has long-standing experience within the financial sector. She is an active participant in the economic policy debate and is, among other things, board member of School of Economics at Lund University and the Swedish Economics Association, as well as a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences. Annika is a frequent columnist and public speaker and has the keen ability to explain complex economics in an educational way.
