Coordinator for the parish’s Christmas market and Lucia

The Christmas Market and Lucia Services are the most important and largest fundraising events for the Swedish Church in London. These events take place at the end of November and the beginning of December, with the parish staff and around a hundred volunteers working together to make them happen.

We are now seeking a project-based employee for four months, whose work will include:

Christmas Market

• Coordinating and finalising the market together with staff and those responsible for the various stalls. Some preparatory work has already been done, which you will take over.
• Main responsibility for set-up, execution, follow-up and evaluation.
• Permits, logistics, budget, deliveries.

Lucia

• Contact with sponsors/partners.
• Coordinating volunteers.
• Ticket sales and budget.
• Execution, follow-up and evaluation.

The role involves weekend and evening work, sometimes intensively.

We welcome applicants with documented experience in sales and/or large events. You must be fluent in both Swedish and English, spoken and written. Familiarity with the Swedish Church in London is desirable.

Employment period: September – December 2025, with possible extension.
