London Bootcamp – one-week accelerator programme for Swedish Tech

London Bootcamp is a collaboration between the Swedish Chamber of Commerce for the UK and Startup Sweden, in partnership with the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth (Tillväxtverket), the Department for International Trade, Vinnova and the Swedish Energy Agency. It is a one-week accelerator programme especially designed for Swedish tech businesses looking to build a presence and connection with London and the UK. The programme takes place during London Tech Week, 1-4 September 2020, and is open to Swedish tech businesses and start-ups.

Contents of the programme

The participating businesses get the opportunity to learn from, connect with and meet leading tech experts, successful entrepreneurs and seasoned investors from the tech and financial capital of Europe.

The one-week programme offers a range of dedicated seminars and workshops, on topics ranging from practically setting up in the UK, how to find customers and distributors, to lessons learnt from entrepreneurs already established the UK, and what investors are looking for. Speakers and mentors include senior business professionals, seasoned entrepreneurs and best-in-class field experts.

Some selected businesses are also offered matchmaking with potential clients, partners and distributors in the UK, and have the opportunity to pitch their business at the annual Tech Forum in front of an audience of 200+ peers and investors.

The Programme will help you to

  • Connect with the wider VC, angel and investor community in London – the world’s largest financial centre
  • Understand the opportunities available in the UK market, the fifth largest economy in the world
  • Practically understand the necessary steps for setting up and successfully running a business in the UK
  • Learn lessons from seasoned entrepreneurs and businesses who have already made it in the UK
  • Gain unique insight from established local experts from across a range of fields and accelerate expertise
  • Share experiences and challenges with other like-minded entrepreneurs and businesses currently on the same journey
