Nordic Chambers Business Forum 2018: Business Agility
19 September 18:00 - 21:00
Venue: Equinor UK, 1 Kingdom Street, London W2 6BD

The Nordic Chambers Business Forum returns to London on the 19 September, this year hosted at Equinor UK (previously known as Statoil) in Paddington.

For over five years the Forum has brought together senior business people to celebrate Anglo-Nordic business, share expertise and discuss timely topics. This year, the focus will be on Business Agility where experts will explain what agility means, how organisations can evolve to thrive in an environment that demands constant change, and what they do to be dynamic and successful.

This year's speakers will be:

Laurent Poncet, Head of Business Model Innovation at Equinor. Laurent has wide experience in consulting and strategy development, having worked five years in the field.

Michael Clark, Client Director at Mannaz. Michael has worked in leadership development for over 25 years and is currently working with Business Agility strategies.

Cormac Whelan, CEO for the UK and Ireland at Nokia. Cormac has extensive expertise in business development, strategic planning and change management.

Ulrika Axelsson, Partner at Centigo. Consulting top players within the Financial Services of the Nordics, Ulrika leads a team that makes change happen in a transforming industry.

Stefán Haukur Jóhannesson, Ambassador of Iceland to the United Kingdom and an experienced diplomat and negotiator.

Moderator of the event is Elisabeth Braw, associate fellow at RUSI - Royal United Services Institute for Defence and Security Studies; she directs the new Modern Deterrence programme, which focuses on how governments and business can work together to strengthen national resilience. Prior to RUSI, she worked at Control Risks following a career as a journalist where she reported from the United States, Germany, Italy and other countries.

After the presentations, there will be a dynamic and thought-provoking panel discussion with active audience involvement, led by a moderator.

We are expecting around 100 guests; all Nordic Chambers are inviting their respective networks and the event is open for all interested. In previous years, the audience has consisted of senior executives and business leaders from various sectors, entrepreneurs and trendsetters of Nordic/UK/global businesses.
