We have the great pleasure and honour of welcoming you to meet Mr Johan Lundgren, CEO of easyJet, Europe's fifth largest airline by passengers carried.

With over 30 years' experience in the travel industry, Johan joined easyJet on 1 December 2017 as Chief Executive Officer. Since joining, Johan has set out a significant increase in investment in easyJet Holidays, implemented a series of initiatives to increase business customers and revealed plans to introduce a new loyalty programme. He has also invested significantly in data and AI to enhance the customer proposition, reduce costs and complexity, and increase revenue. During his time at easyJet, the airline has successfully completed the transaction of Air Berlin and successfully integrated it into easyJet’s operation.

The discussions will be chaired by Nik Gowing, Director of Thinking the Unthinkable and former main news presenter for BBC World News (1996-2014) where his roles have included hosting NewsDesk, World News Today, The Hub and Dateline London, plus location coverage of major global stories. Since 2016, he has been Visiting Professor at Kings College London and Nanyang Technological University in Singapore as well as a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on Geo-Economics and adviser on leadership challenges to the President of the UN General Assembly.
