Skanska UK Plc

Going the extra mile

Skanska UK is the British arm of Skanska, one of the largest construction services groups in the world. We specialise in design, construction, civil engineering and building services which, when combined with our wide range of specialist disciplines, enable us to offer complex, bespoke solutions for our clients and their end users.

We are a UK market leader in Private Finance Initiative and Public Private Partnership (PFI/PPP) schemes and have extensive experience across the healthcare, education, defence, custodial and transportation sectors, together with a knowledge of what it is that makes these projects so successful. For example, we understand that making best use of natural light and ventilation provides children with a better environment in which to learn, but at the same time can offer a more natural healing environment for hospital patients. We know that it is often these fundamental factors that make the difference to our clients and we go the extra mile to ensure that our facilities meet their every requirement.

We have experience in a wide range of projects, ranging from the M25 Widening scheme or 30 St Mary Axe (the Gherkin) in London to small, but complex utilities and infrastructure projects.

Whatever the project, our clients come to us safe in the knowledge that we go that extra mile to provide them with a solution that truly meets their needs.
