International Business Academy

If you are new to either Swedish or UK business culture – this is the course you have been looking for. The Swedish Chamber of Commerce’s International Business Academy gives insights into Swedish and British business cultures and provides participants with the tools necessary to understand and excel in their foreign workplace environments.

Contents of the course

This half-day course prepares delegates for their career in a Swedish or British company and enables them to discover ways of working more efficiently within the management structures. The course will cover cultural nuances in leadership and management approaches, how to safely navigate the differences in workplace behaviours, as well as exploring differences in negotiation practices, sales techniques and communications. Attendees will also get an introduction to the differences within employment and commercial law and be given a crash course into Swedish and British culture and perceptions.
