Karl joined Silverfleet Capital in 2017 as co-head of the Nordic region based in Stockholm. Prior to joining the company he was for a short period an investment director with AP6, the sixth Swedish national pension fund, which he joined from Doughty Hanson where he was also responsible for investments in the Nordic region. He started his career at Accenture in Stockholm before moving to London and into investment banking initially with Goldman Sachs and then Lehman Brothers. Karl relocated back to Sweden in 2006 becoming a partner at corporate finance firm ABG Sundal Collier, spending five years with them before joining private equity. In addition to a MSc in psychology from the University of Stockholm, Karl also has an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Evanston near Chicago.

Göran is the Chairman and previous Managing Director of Lannebo Fonder. He has an extensive experience of asset management, both as a Fund Manager and Managing Director at Robur Asset Management. He holds a degree in Business & Economics from Linköping University, MBA from University of Maryland and an SEP from Stanford University.

Anders Fogel is the founder of Fogel & Partners and has more than two decades of experience in strategic financial communication. Anders advises clients on the development and implementation of their communication strategies and is also specialised in M&A communications as well as crisis management and corporate positioning. Over the past years, Anders has advised on some of the largest M&A situations in the Nordics, domestic and cross-border. He has vast experience from representing both bidders and target companies in various sectors ranging from industrials to healthcare and TMT. Prior to founding Fogel & Partners, Anders was a partner with Brunswick London and established its Stockholm office in 2006. He also has a background as management consultant, as well as from inhouse communication executive roles for listed companies. Anders holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Stockholm University.

Jesper Hjälm joined Bloomberg’s Private Equity team in New York in 2017, he later moved to London where he has been a leading member of the EMEA Private Equity Global Data team and amongst other things, has worked with portfolio managers on the Private Equity Risk Factor model to quantify their risk by PE-specific factors. Mr. Hjälm received a double Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Business Management from Manhattanville College in New York, where he graduated magna cum laude with honours.

Alexandre Hökfelt joined EQT Partners in October 2011 and is a Director of EQT‘s Credit Team in London. Prior to joining EQT Partners, Alexandre was involved in structuring financings for leveraged buyouts and levered corporates in the J.P. Morgan Acquisition and Leveraged Finance team in London. Alexandre holds an M.A. (Hons) in Management from the University of St Andrews.

Magnus is a graduated economist from The Stockholm School of Economics. Since graduation he has gained more than twenty years of experience in the global industrial industries, foremost as the Group Vice President in Autoliv and Prestorps corporate group. In addition, he has also served as the Senior Partner at Triton. Magnus recent role is as Chairman at Ryds Bilglas and Co-Managing Partner at CORDET Capital Partners.

Elisabet is a global partner at Linklaters law firm. Elisabet is based in the firm’s Stockholm office within the M&A Corporate practice advising private equity and industrial clients on cross-border private M&A, carve-outs and joint ventures. Elisabet’s extensive transactional experience spans across the technology, financial, healthcare, industrial, automotive, energy and infrastructure sectors. She has a particular expertise in the technology and business services sector and in IP intensive transactions. In addition to this, Elisabet also chairs the board of the Swedish fintech company Lendify AB.

Gabriel Mellqvist is a Swedish journalist working for Dagens industri. During his twelve year long career at the financial newspaper, he has for instance covered American business and politics as a New York correspondent, as well as worked as a UK Correspondent in London. He has previously anchored the TV-show Börslunch on Stockholm-based broadcaster EFN, Ekonomi- och Finansnyheterna. He has also worked for Reuters and has also co-authored the book United Stockholms of America.

Mark is responsible for HSBC’s Industrials & Business Services M&A business. He has over 15 years of advisory and coverage experience and was previously Head of Diversified Industrials EMEA and, prior to that, Head of Industrials M&A at Nomura Int. Plc. Mark started his banking career at Credit Suisse First Boston in London and New York. He has extensive cross-border experience providing strategic advice to both global corporate and private equity clients.

Petri Oksanen is a Partner with Francisco Partners and focuses primarily on enterprise application software investments. He has a particular interest in the industrial, manufacturing, and healthcare sectors. Prior to joining Francisco Partners in 2005, Petri worked at Morgan Stanley in their Technology Investment Banking group in Menlo Park, California. Earlier in his career, Petri held a variety of business development, program management, and software development roles at Microsoft in Redmond, Washington.

Jan joined Deutsche Bank in 1988 and has held several positions within M&A, Structured Finance and Corporate Finance. He holds a BA from Pomona College, an MBA from Wharton, an MA from University of Pennsylvania, and a Graduate Diploma in Business Studies from the London School of Economics.

Christian Schmidt-Jacobsen joined Axcel in 2015 and is now managing partner. Christian sits on the boards of Frontmatec, Delete Group and Axcel Management. Before joining Axcel, he served as CFO of Icopal and held positions at Chr. Hansen and Danske Bank Corporate Finance as well as Axcel itself from 1999 to 2005. Christian Schmidt-Jacobsen holds an MSc in Economics from Copenhagen Business School.

Jan Ståhlberg is the Founder and Managing Partner of impact private equity firm Trill Impact and has spent 25 years in the PE industry. Jan is a former partner of EQT, which he joined in 1995 as part of the initial team. During his time at EQT, Jan held positions such as Vice Chairman, Deputy Managing Partner and Head of Mid-Market globally across Europe, US and Asia. Jan graduated from the Stockholm School of Economics with majors in Economic Analysis and Accounting & Finance. He also attended the MBA program at the New York University Stern School of Business. Jan has been lecturing on Private Equity at leading universities in Sweden and the US.

Elisabeth started her first business in 1991, the same year she was elected to the local environment council. At McKinsey she was elected non-profit fellow working with the Gates Foundation and the World Bank. As special advisor to the deputy prime minister she implemented the GRI principles in the government-owned business and in 2009 she participated in the Copenhagen negotiations. As the CEO of Swedish Federation of Business Owners, she developed a guide for LGBT inclusion and a guide for SME sustainability policy. Since 2015 Elisabeth is a business angel and venture capitalist with a focus on UN SDG and sustainable scaling.

Sibel Yilmaz

Sibel is a counsel at Linklaters law firm. She is based in the firm’s competition law team in Brussels. Sibel represents clients on merger control aspects before the European Commission, the Swedish Competition Authority and the CMA with a focus on the private equity, technology and health care sectors. Sibel has extensive experience advising private equity firms on a range of competition law issues, in particular in relation to liability flowing from the behaviour of portfolio companies. She is also an expert on foreign direct investment matters.
