In addition to its many events, the Chamber also strives to raise awareness of its members through a variety of marketing channels. It uses a number of marketing tools to create, communicate, deliver and exchange its member’s offerings; thereby generating and adding long term value.
The LINK magazine is the Chamber’s key publication, but a number of other marketing sources are also available, such as the Trade Directory, Annual Review, electronic mail shots, mail outs and the Chamber website. All forms of communication offer the Anglo-Swedish business community valuable information about upcoming events and news stories within and outside the membership, as well as promotions on offer. They also offer possibilities for Member companies to target a specific market through advertisements.

The LINK provides an effective way of reaching the Anglo-Swedish business community. Published since 1979, it is distributed free of charge and the readership includes the SCC Member companies (MD’s, CEO’s, Directors and Managers at various levels), as well as prospect members, general contacts, other Chambers of Commerce in Sweden and the UK, Swedish consuls and diplomats, journalists, correspondents and other members of the press. Members of the Young Professionals also receive the magazine.
The LINK is an invaluable tool for companies wanting to promote their products and services to a unique target group of professionals, interested or involved, in the trade between the Scandinavian countries (Sweden in particular) and the UK.

The Swedish Chamber of Commerce website further promotes its Members, offers in-depth information about our services and further shares experiences in Anglo-Swedish trade and business. It is the natural stepping stone for businesses within the network, attracting approx 3,500 visitors every month. The website offers lucrative web banner opportunities aimed at an attractive target group.
The Trade Directory includes detailed information about the SCC member companies, business information about the UK and Sweden (such as trade statistics and addresses to important organisations) and the Concierge Service, which contains various discount offers on products and services offered by members to other members.

The Annual Report is published to coincide with the Chamber’s AGM held in June. It includes an extract from the audited nancial statement (a full copy of the audited accounts is available on request) as well as an overview of the year’s events, marketing initiatives and membership highlights. In addition to this, it also includes a presentation of the Council, the Chamber Patrons and the staff at the Secretariat.
