#AccessUK – a unique accelerator programme for Swedish scaleups

#AccessUK is a collaboration between the Swedish Chamber of Commerce for the UK and Startup Sweden, in partnership with the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth (Tillväxtverket), Embassy of Sweden and the Department for International Trade. It is an accelerator programme specially designed for Swedish tech businesses looking to build a presence and connection with London and the UK. Kicking off with a bootcamp taking place 7-10 June 2021, the programme continues throughout the autumn with individually tailored coaching and personalised meetings with experts, partners and prospective clients.

Contents of the programme

The participating businesses get the opportunity to learn from, connect with and meet leading tech experts, successful entrepreneurs and seasoned investors from the tech and financial capital of Europe.

The programme offers a range of dedicated seminars and workshops, on topics ranging from practically setting up in the UK, how to find customers and distributors, to lessons learnt from entrepreneurs already established the UK, and what investors are looking for. Speakers and mentors include senior business professionals, seasoned entrepreneurs and best-in-class field experts.

All selected businesses are also offered matchmaking with potential clients, partners and distributors in the UK, and have the opportunity to pitch their business at the annual Tech Forum in front of an audience of 200+ peers and investors.

After the one-week bootcamp, the programme will continue throughout the autumn with individually tailored coaching and personalised meetings with experts, partners and prospective clients.

Boneprox has found a way to bridge the gap between health and dental care by making dentists an important complement to early diagnose common diseases. With their plug-in solutions integrated with already existing dental x-ray systems, the company is a scalable company with huge potential. In addition to their A.I analyses, Boneprox has built a Saas-platform where dentists get access to specialists. This solution supports an immediate resource of diagnose and treatment for other diseases, such as oral cancer.

Learnster is a SaaS-platform enabling organizations to achieve maximum learning in minimal time. Learnster was selected to the prestigious STING Accelerate Cohort in 2017 and nominated Swedish SaaS Company of the Year in 2020 by Breakit. Today, thousands of users across 20 countries use Learnster on a daily basis.

Lexly was founded by entrepreneurs with a background in the financial and legal industries in order to solve a pervasive problem - the law and legal services are far too complicated. Both individuals and SMEs are often unaware of what their legal needs may be and do not know how to make the law work for them. When they do look for legal help, they frequently feel lost in a jungle of expensive and opaque prices and services. Lexly provides a sustainable platform for digital law. Individuals and companies can use the platform to quickly understand which legal services they need and why.

At the heart of their offering is their easy-to-use cloud-based Customer Communication Management (CCM) platform. Norbloc’s platforms enable individuals, organizations and regulators to effectively manage and securely share verified KYC data. Financial institutions, governments and licensing authorities across the globe trust norbloc technology to enhance customer onboarding, increase data security and mitigate systemic risk. Their technology powers the KYC Blockchain Platform recently launched in the UAE in collaboration with seven banks and two government institutions. This initiative was endorsed by Moody’s who cited it as credit positive for participating banks.
