Amidst rising digitisation and access to information, our ways of consuming media have changed. Historically controlled by large media corporations, the internet has created new streams of content that can be found all around us. How has this transformation shaped our reading habits? How will AI models impact writing and authorship? What societal responsibility do media platforms of today have in terms of content filtering and shaping the views of their readers? During the evening, we will deep-dive into these topics and learn about how Readly has built up a business model on shaping the media sector of tomorrow. The event will be accompanied by Chris Couchman, Head of Client Services, and Ranj Begley, Chief Content Officer at Readly UK.
Readly is a digital subscription service that offers unlimited, "all-you-can-read" access to thousands of magazines and newspapers in one app. Founded in 2012 in Sweden, Readly has grown into a European leader in digital subscription magazines boasting over 7,700 newspapers and magazines.
