Welcome to this Virtual Roundtable discussion featuring Gustav Lundberg Toresson, CEO and Co-Founder of memmo, on the emergence of the passion economy, how this has shifted the power from institutions to individuals, and why the future in entertainment will be hyper-personalised.
Forbes 30 Under 30 lister Gustav Lundberg Toresson is CEO and co-founder of memmo, a platform that enables fans and businesses to book personalised messages from celebrities and influencers. In its first year, memmo has secured more than 2,000 celebrities on its platform, creating over 50,000 video greetings.
From his first job of selling lottery tickets at the age of 13 to forming his own startup at 18, deferring admission at MIT in order to study acting, and working in the tech and media teams at J.P Morgan in London and Boston Consulting Group in Dubai, Gustav has had a remarkable, varied career so far. He took the risk to found memmo after meeting creators and entrepreneurs that inspired him to start his own business to make that possible for other people at scale.
