We have the great pleasure of welcoming you to meet Daniel Franklin, Executive and Diplomatic Editor of The Economist, and to be one of the first few to get his view on the World in 2020.

Since 2003 Daniel has been Editor of The Economist's annual publication, “The World in…”, which focuses on the year ahead. Daniel gives us a taste of the highly anticipated predictions in “The World in 2020” and what will be the biggest and most determining trends of the year. 

Mr Franklin joined The Economist in 1983 to write about Eastern Europe. He has been Europe Editor, Britain Editor, Washington Bureau Chief, Editorial Director of the Economist Intelligence Unit, Editor-in-Chief of Economist.com and the newspaper’s Business Affairs Editor. He chairs The Economist Educational Foundation.

Succeeding Daniel's speech, there will be an interactive Q&A session. This event is kindly hosted by Norton Rose Fulbright.
