Sustainability Forum 2017
12 October 18:00 - 21:00
Series: Urbanisation Forum
Venue: The Crystal, Royal Victoria Docks, Siemens Brothers Way, London E16 1GB

EVENT SOLD OUT

This Forum will explore the phenomenon of sustainability, and how it can be integrated in an urbanising world.

For the fifth year running the SCC is hosting a forum in the Urbanisation event series. This year’s theme is sustainability and one of the focus areas will be “innovation of packaging and recycling”. With insights from SCC Member companies and experts on the matter, we will explore questions such as more responsible packaging solutions and the future of recycling. What are we seeing today and what can we expect for the future?

The Forum will feature Tetra Pak, the Swedish world-leading packaging company that represents an alternative to plastic, H&M, which is constantly working to find better packaging solutions that use fewer resources and cause less waste, BillerudKorsnäs, the leading provider of renewable packaging material, and Siemens, which aims to be carbon neutral by 2030, and will host us at The Crystal, the world’s most sustainable building. Why not arrive in style with the Emirates Air Line cable car.

Anna Gustafsson, Associate Director at Kreab, will moderate the Forum.
