Is there such a thing as a brick-and-mortar effect between physical and online stores? Join us in November to find out.
Together with our retail and e-commerce Member companies, the SCC is organising a Retail Forum to discuss how to succeed in a world with a never-ending threat of competition, both online and on the ground, and ever-increasing business rates.
The Retail Forum will be held at Google's largest and fanciest event space - this is a truly exclusive opportunity to see their fantastic premises from the inside and to experience the most advanced technologies.
It will be an interactive event with experts from the sector discussing the current situation on the market as well as what it takes to make it and to survive. Topics will address the ultimate user experience and the challenge in finding this through a mixture of e-commerce and brick-and-mortar.
H.Ashton Crosby, Director at True and a twelve-year retail and consumer veteran, having worked with Tesco, as Commercial Director of its Harris+Hoole coffee chain, and with Nomura’s M&A team will moderate the discussions between representatives from:
- ARKET Managing Director, Lars Axelsson
- British Retail Consortium Head of Retail Insight and Analytics, Rachel Lund
- Google UK Head of Chrome Enterprise/EMEA, Mark Grady
- Nobia Chief Marketing Officer, Kim Lindqvist
- Vaimo Head of Strategy, Henrik Feld-Jakobsen
