Gabriel Mellqvist is an anchor at Swedish finance broadcaster EFN, Ekonomi- och Finansnyheterna. He is the host of stock market show Börslunch, and is also a contributing writer and a frequent commentator on markets and economy in other media. Before returning to EFN, he was a journalist working for Dagens Industri. During his sixteen year long career at the financial newspaper, he has for instance covered American business and politics as a New York correspondent, as well as worked as a UK Correspondent in London. He has also worked for Reuters and has also co-authored the book United Stockholms of America.
Jan Ståhlberg founded Trill Impact in 2019 with the ambition to be a force for positive change through impact private investments, in large and small scale. The firm’s mission is to create ‘Real Returns and Lasting Impact’ for the benefit of investors, businesses and society at large. Jan Ståhlberg has a long-standing career in private markets investment and has been holding senior investing – and leadership positions in Europe, US and Asia since 1985. For ~25 years, he was an Institutional Partner at EQT Partners, today a global investment organisation.
Emmie is a partner at White & Case’s London private equity team and co-head of the Firm's fast-growth practice. She advises clients on the structuring, negotiation and execution of highly complex, cross-border transactions across multiple sectors but with a particular focus on technology and fast-growth companies.
Emmie has extensive experience advising founders, growth investors, private equity houses and corporate venture capital providers on their investments as well as on acquisitions, disposals and management equity deals.
Joined in January 2010. David is a senior member of the Nordic Capital Evolution advisory team where he specialises in Financial Services and Financial Markets Software in the mid-market segment. He has served on the boards of ten Nordic Capital portfolio companies. Before joining, he worked as a Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company in Stockholm (2006-2009). David holds an MSc in Economics and Business Administration from the Stockholm School of Economics and ESADE in Barcelona, Spain.
Jen Braswell joined EQT Partners in September 2022 as Head of Impact for Private Capital based in London, UK.
Prior to joining EQT Partners, Jen was Head of Value Creation in the Impact Group at British International Investment (formerly CDC Group), where she was part of building the impact management framework for the business, including overseeing expert teams on climate change, gender & diversity finance and job quality to drive value creation through an impact lens across the portfolio.
Jen is a licensed attorney in New York and started her career in management consulting, focusing on private sector growth, business enabling regulatory reform and sustainability integration in emerging markets with a variety of advisory roles over 15+ years, including an extended role at Booz Allen Hamilton as Head of the International Development & Cooperation business line with oversight of P&L and operations across Eurasia, Africa and SE Asia.
Tanja covers Schroders Capital’s investment activities in Europe. Tanja leads the primary and co-investment activities in the UK and the Nordics, sourcing investment opportunities, developing the investment case and driving investment execution. Tanja manages a number of Schroder Capital’s first time funds and emerging managers.
Tanja is part of Schroders Capital’s Sustainability and Impact Committee involved in developing products which promote ESG characteristics in line with the EU’s SFDR Article 8 & 9 guidelines, adhering to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals and creating an impact in green transition.
Tanja is also part of Schroders Capital technology and software specialization industry group, where she takes a leading role preparing market analysis and research in the sector, including participating in conferences. Tanja is responsible for several of the firm’s investments and relationships in that sector.
Before joining Schroders Capital beginning of 2018, Tanja worked at Deloitte Corporate Finance in Denmark for 6 years. In her role as Investment Director she was leading sell- and buyside projects for large and mid-sized corporations and private equity clients in the Nordics. Tanja holds a Master degree in Economics from Aarhus University, Denmark.
Niclas is a Senior Impact Director focusing on private equity. He has more than 20 years of industry experience within impact and ESG investing, private equity and strategy consulting. Before joining Trill Impact, he was an Associate Partner specialising in Impact and ESG at Steward Requeen. He has further professional experience as Portfolio Director at Swedfund, Head of ESG and Fund Evaluations at the CDC Group plc, Senior Associate at McKinsey & Co., Senior Consultant at Hitachi/Celerant Consulting and as Consultant to the World Bank Group. Niclas holds a M.A. in International economics & International relations from the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) at Johns Hopkins University.
Arnaud is a Managing Director leading the Impact Private Equity investment team, based in London. Over the past 20 years, Arnaud has worked on a significant number of transactions across Europe with a particular focus on Venture Capital, Growth Capital and Buyout. Arnaud joined AllianzGI most recently from Oakley Capital. At Oakley, he expanded the firm’s investment activities into impact investing, extending Oakley’s origination efforts into climate technology, circularity economy and energy transition. Previously, Arnaud was a partner at Adams Street Partners, a leading private markets specialist with around $70 billion under management, where he spent 15 years. Arnaud holds an MSc from the Neoma Business School (fka ESC Reims) and a Master Degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Paris X Nanterre.
Michelle has spent 20+ years as a venture capital and private equity investor, partnering with founders and management teams to accelerate value creation. Michelle cares deeply about climate action and thrives on sharing her deep experience scaling companies.
Before co-founding Blume Equity, Michelle was an early-stage climate tech and sustainability investor. She was previously a Partner and Investment Committee member at Mid Europa Partners, investing in high-growth companies in TMT, cleantech and other sectors. She started her career at Merrill Lynch in energy and power investment banking, having graduated from Wharton in the US.
Born and raised in rural Sweden with a stint in Jamaica, Michelle is long-time London-based, where she lives with her French husband and teenage children. Often found in the Nordics, scouting for new investment opportunities and supporting the existing Blume portfolio, Michelle loves skiing, the freedom of being on the sea and spending time in the family’s sustainably managed forest. She is always up for a game of tennis.
Cecilia Amyot is a Vice President of Neuberger Berman. Prior to joining Neuberger Berman Private Equity in 2019, Cecilia worked for four years in the direct private equity group of CDPQ (Caisse de Dépôt et Placement du Québec), where she focused on due diligence and execution of direct equity investments in private companies, in connection with new buyouts and/or minority equity investments into existing sponsor-owned companies. Prior to CDPQ, Cecilia worked three years in the corporate development team at AECOM in both Hong Kong and Singapore, and prior to that she was a business analyst at the OECD, based in Paris, where she focused on macro-economic trends analysis. Cecilia has a BBA from McGill University, Desautels School of Business in Montreal, Canada.
Nicolas Moura is an EMEA private capital research analyst at PitchBook, where he covers the PE and VC markets in Europe. He contributes to quarterly core reports as well as analyst notes on various topics. Prior to PitchBook, Moura worked as an equity research analyst first at Berenberg and then at Mirabaud, transitioning from being a sector analyst into a generalist.
Moura received a bachelor’s degree in economics and business from University College of London (UCL), a master’s degree in finance from Imperial College Business School and is also a CFA charterholder. He is based in PitchBook’s London office.
Johan Olsson is an Investment Director based in GRO's London office. Before joining GRO, Johan was CEO of a consumer internet business and a technology growth investor at Summit Partners. He began his career in technology investment banking at JP Morgan in London and at Google in Dublin. He is a Swedish national and holds a BSc in Economics & Finance from the University of Gothenburg and Erasmus University Rotterdam.
Carl is part of TA Associates’ EMEA technology investment team with a specific focus on the Nordics. Before joining TA, Carl worked at Morgan Stanley where he worked in the Nordic Investment Banking team out of Stockholm and, later on, the Technology investment banking team out of London. He is a Norwegian national and holds BSc in Economics and Business Administration from Norwegian School of Economics and MSc in Accounting and Finance from London School of Economics.
Fredrik Warneryd is the Chief Executive for the Swedish Chamber of Commerce for the UK, one of the largest and most active foreign chambers in the UK. Prior to joining the Chamber, Fredrik held many leading positions in the City of London. With more than 25 years of experience within the Nordic teams of French Banque Paribas, Dresdner Kleinwort Benson, UBS and Credit Suisse, he has earned extensive knowledge and expertise in both the UK and Nordic markets.
