Welcome to this Virtual Roundtable discussion with Kristian Elvefors, Managing Director of Volvo Cars UK, on the future of Volvo, electrification and how to lead a purpose-driven organisation.

Kristian currently holds the position of Managing Director of Volvo Cars UK, a company he joined in 2002. Throughout his well-established and long-standing career, Kristian has built up a broad experience of the automotive industry as well as profound business expertise. His previous professional background includes responsibility for business development at Hertz, CEO at Sunfleet and consulting in strategy and business development.

A great passion and area of expertise of Kristian is to develop teams and individuals into a strong organisation with a challenging and inspiring culture. He has a proven track record of implementing new cultures, leading teams into new organisational sets, as well as transforming existing structures to meet the customer in future business models.

Volvo Cars is one of the most recognisable car brands in the world, with a presence on about 100 business markets. The global company focuses on innovation, safety technology, connectivity and pursuing an all-electric future.

This Virtual Roundtable discussion is chaired by Carsten Amdi Jensen, Deputy Head of Corporate Banking at Danske Bank.
