The London Jazz festival celebrates its twenty third birthday in November and invites you to join a 10-day busy schedule during 13-22 November filled with jazz music from all over the world.

The London Jazz festival was created in 1992 by Serious, one of the UK’s leading live international music producers, and will this year produce the festival in collaboration with BBC Radio 3. The London Jazz Festival has over the years grown to become one of London’s largest music festivals, and is originating from ‘Camden Jazz Week’ founded in the 1970s.

The Festival has been hailed for the mix of talents selected from all around the world, delivering world-class artists and future emerging stars. The premiere of the festival will be held at the Barbican on 13 November and features big names as Cassandra Wilson, Kurt Elling, Cecile McLorin Salvant and Melody Gardot.

During the 10-day event, more than 100,000 people will be attending over 250 shows at 50 venues across London. The festival will offer a wide variety of London venues, including larger concert halls and famous venues such as the Barbican, the Royal Festival Hall and Shakespeare Globe as well as smaller jazz clubs, like Ronnie Scott’s and Vortex.

During the festival there will be live screenings and interviews from selected concerts as well as experts sharing their opinions on performers for all the jazz lovers. Certain sold out concerts will have tickets released on the same day, so if you haven’t signed up for any concert you wish to attend– there might still be an opportunity!
