On Tuesday 12 June, the SCC hosted the Entrepreneurship Forum at Google UK’s HQ. The theme of the evening was “Start, Scale, Fail?” and the speakers spoke about their experiences of setting up companies, their success stories, and also the often neglected topic of failure.

Giving presentations were Rune Bentien, Business Development Manager for Chrome at Google, Stefan Backlund, Vice President of Marketing and Communication at Trustly, Robert Falck, CEO and Founder of Einride and Jeff Skinner, Executive Director of the Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the London Business School.

The presentations were followed by a panel discussion with all speakers and Kina Zeidler, journalist and author of the book The Swedish Tech Miracle (Det Svenska Techundret), moderated the discussion.

Around 150 guests attended the event which took place during London Tech Week, including a delegation of Swedish tech start-ups.

Thank you to Gecko Technology Partners, Trustly Group AB, Embassy of Sweden in London, and Northzone for kindly sponsoring this event and to Google for hosting us.
