Summer in Sweden

The Independent recently wrote about how best to spend a couple of summer days in Gothenburg. The two-day itinerary provided by the newspaper includes everything one needs to know about a weekend in Sweden’s second largest city, such as information on how to get there and recommendations on where to eat in.

It has not just become more common for British people to visit Sweden for a few days, however, but also to buy property in the country. The Telegraph recently listed holiday homes for sale located on the Swedish west coast, all of which were sold either through Sothebys or Christies. Moreover, The Telegraph Travel writes about Fårö, Grinda, Resarö and Tjörn as places where “four of the best summerhouses” are to be found.
