Reviewing Board Work - on 24 March

[2010-03-02] The Chamber will be hosting a Members' Luncheon with Finn Johnsson on the topic of "Review of Swedish Board Work". Mr Johnsson will be addressing the issue of being a board member of several companies and how to keep your shareholders happy drawing from his own experiences.

Finn Johnsson's merits include Regional Director for Swedish Match for Europe (1980-1983), Regional Director for all Swedish Match products in Asia (1983-1985), Managing Director for Tarkett AB (1985-1988, Executive Vice President, Stora AB (1985-1989), CEO, Euroc AB (1990-1995), Managing Director, United Distillers Ltd and Executive Vice President Guinness and a board member (1995-1998), Managing Director, Mölnlycke Health Care AB (1998-2005), Honorary Doctor Economics at the Business and Law School of Gothenburg (2006).

Other appointments include Chairman of the Board of Directors in the following companies: Thomas Concrete Group AB, KappAhl AB, Luvata, City Airline, European Furniture Group AB, West Sweden Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Geveko. Appointments also include Member of the Board of Directors in Skanska AB, Industrivärden AB. Previous appointments include Chairman of the Board of Directors in AB Volvo, Unomedical, Klövern and Wilson and Member of the Board of Director s in Svenska Handelsbanken (regional), Skåne Gripen, Midway, Aker, Guinness, Valenciana de Cemento, Pergular (CEO and a board member).
