Chamber announcement[2012-04-16] Annika Wahlberg resigns as Managing Director. After serving the Swedish Chamber of Commerce for over three years as Managing Director it has been agreed that it is time for Annika Wahlberg to take on new challenges. She will leave on 16th April 2012. "The Chamber is very grateful to Annika for her many achievements over her period as Managing Director and we wish her well for the future" says Paul von der Heyde, Chairman of the Chamber. Annika comments "As I was reminded when I joined as Managing Director 'we just have the Chamber on loan'. I have thoroughly enjoyed that loan period and continuing the Chamber's development, working with its many members from such a wide variety of industries while also helping the many Swedish Trainees and Scholars. The loan now comes to an end and I leave the Chamber in good order. I intend to enjoy the summer in Sweden with my family." An Interim Director will be appointed shortly and the process of recruiting a new Managing Director will commence straight away.Back to News archive |
