TESTIMONIALS
The SCC is a great organisation for promoting Anglo-Swedish relationships and interests. The people working for the Chamber are very energetic and entrepreneurial which I think are the characteristics of Swedes in the UK. - Johan Aurén, Aurén & Co Ltd

Pioneer Divers of the North Sea

[2012-04-02]

Swedish producer Martin Johnson will be presenting his acclaimed Swedish radio documentary, Pioneer Divers of the North Sea, on 4 April 2012 at a public listening event with London not for profit organisation, In The Dark.

In The Dark is a collaborative project between radio producers and radio enthusiasts and arranges a wide range of different listening events celebrating stories told through sound. Martin won a special award at the Prix Italia in 2008 for his documentary “My Father Takes a Vacation”, which is in a mix of Swedish and English. A version with subtitles is available from Swedish Radio and is a great listen. Apart from playing his highly acclaimed features on a maritime theme, Martin will also play other short audios which has inspired him. Martin will be available for discussion after the event.

The event is on 4 April 7:30 pm, at Lightship95, Trinity Buoy Wharf, E14 0JW.

Tickets are £7 in advance or £8 on the door.
