On Tuesday 8 November some of our times most successful social entrepreneurs will come together to talk about social entrepreneurship and share their experiences from their journey as social entrepreneurs. What are the differences from other company structures, what challenges and difficulties are there, what new models can be applied for companies to bring society and business together.
A few short presentations will be followed by a panel discussion and later a networking and drinks reception
Speakers and panellists:
- Lily Lapena - Founder of MyBnk, the first ever independent FSA approved banking scheme run by young people for young people. In 2010 Lily was honoured and elected as one of the Young Global Leaders at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
- Duncan Goose - Founder of Global Ethics the company behind The One Brand, today including a range of different brands, such as One Careplast plasters, One Supersofty toilet tissue, One Helping Handwash and One Condoms, all raising money for like-for-like humanitarian issues.
- Tom Rippin - Founder of On Purpose, a leadership programme for the next generation of high-flyers, enabling them to use the power of business to make a difference in the world.
The seminar will be moderated by Nawtej Dosanjh, Associate Dean at Hult International Business School.
