COVID-19

At the Swedish Chamber of Commerce we are monitoring the situation closely, and sharing updates and advice, and positive community stories, throughout our network as and when relevant.

Both the Swedish and UK governments have introduced a number of specific restrictions and guidelines for businesses and the wider community, relating to employees, personal and workplace hygiene and how to continue trading. There are also a number of subsidies and schemes available for businesses to access in these difficult times.

Our membership and community team is available to ensure you keep making the most of your membership during this period. Email via membership@scc.org.uk and do share any specific issue that you may encounter, or where you think the we could help.

How the Chamber can help

Throughout this challenging time, the Chamber is well positioned to continue to support you and your businesses in a number of ways. Naturally there will be some interruption to the physical events activities. We thank you for your understanding. However, we are supporting in many other ways:

  • We have launched a new webinar series on running a business, including a number of webinars focused on supporting businesses in these trying times, with sessions on government subsidies, HR, remote working and leading with hope.
  • We have introduced virtual roundtables for our member businesses, sharing experiences, challenges and indeed solutions to surviving and thriving.
  • We are producing guides to a range of topics relating to the setting up or running of a business, and will launch shortly. If you would like to contribute, please contact Jonas Eklund and team at eklund@scc.org.uk

  • Our business services department is open, and available to support you with matchmaking, market entry or growth services. Contact Anna Crona and team at crona@scc.org.uk
  • Our newsletters are focusing on sharing the great community stories from our network, and how businesses are supporting society. If you would like to share a story, please contact Jonas Eklund and team at eklund@scc.org.uk
